Quilt time

After going to the hospital today, I stopped by Bernina in Plano and picked up some quilts from Debbie...they all need binding ...
This first one is actually for me...yes, a Christmas quilt for me.
This one is for the Cremer's.
Diane sent this one home with me my last trip to TN.

And this one is actually Wynona's...hope you don't mind me sharing.

Tree for my Halloween ornaments

Finally got a tree for my ornaments. Next year I will put it in "My Window".
Sunday, Meg and I took the boys to her local produce store and I snapped these pictures.

Tate was so serious and so cute in his baseball hat.
There was a rock in his shoe.

You really have to be fast to get both the boys looking at the camera and smiling at the same time.

At the house, the boy's wanted to show me the pumpkins they had painted.

Christmas quilt

Took the day off on Saturday and finished a children's Christmas quilt...flannel...too cute.

Cole and Children's

Cole's trip to the hospital caused quite a stir. There has been a steady stream of family and friends coming and going.
Kelly and 'the boys' flew in from California. While at Brian's folks house one afternoon before going to the hospital, I snapped a few pictures. Notice the Christmas decorations and it's only October...no this isn't my house.

Things are much better with Cole so Kelly and Brian dropped in to say goodbye before heading back home.

Trip to Lubbock

On Thursday, the 9th, Allison and Miss Carter drove up here with the girls on their way for a fun weekend in Lubbock. Here they are all decked out at the rendezvous in south Dallas.

This was the girl's idea of cleaning up.

Finished the rug

Finished my 'Aunt Philly's Toothbrush Rug' for the half bath...quite pleased with it. Now I need to paint...wonder when that will happen.

Closer to Halloween means closer to Christmas

Yes, my house has been ready for Halloween since Sept 1...I never know when one of the kids will be here and that be their only trip. Since one of you can't come see me, and I had so much fun at your house, thought I would add a few pictures so you would feel like you got to drop by.

Ms B came over last night and suggested I make a seasonal sign to blend in with the rest of the Halloweeny stuff so I made a "Welcome" sign for above the window...wonder what I can spell out in seven letters for Christmas...oh, I know, "Holiday".
